On the 12 of December Mr. John Connolly, Director of ILSTA, gave an Open Lecture at the National University of Laos on Digital currencies.
The Lecture was an introduction to the diverse range of the virtual currencies, the history of their appearance and the role it has in shaping national financial and economic systems.
Students, university lecturers and legal practitioners attended the open lecture, and debated around a productive questions and answers session, focused on the legal issues related to crypto-currencies within different states and legal frameworks.
