From the 24th of November to 4th of December ILSTA organised, in partnership with People’s Supreme Court and the Institute of Research and Training of PSC, a workshop for court clerks from 13 provinces, on the role of the court clerks in the judicial system.
The activities comprised presentations on the role and duties of court clerks in the court, with relevant examples from different law systems, as well as simulations of a criminal and civil trial, emphasizing the proceedings which are in the charge of a court clerk.
A special attention was drawn to the case management proceedings and methods, underlining the vital role of the court clerk in the good administration of the court and of the judicial system as a whole.
