The Inspection Office of the National University of Laos together with ILSTA organised a three day training session for Inspectors working at all faculties of the National University of Laos (NUoL). Focus were on strengthening the prevention and investigation work to reduce corruption within the education sector. The training included presentations on Anti-Corruption work given by i.a. Vice President of NUoL Assoc. Prof Oudom Phonekhampheng and Mr. Thepphathai Phanka, from the Anti-Corruption Department of the Govenment Inspection Authority. Mr. Erik Häggqvist, ILSTA, gave an overview of international regulation and measures to be taken in order to minimise corruption. Presentations were followed by lively discussions. Among the more than 40 participants were vice deans from all faculties of NUoL.
