ILSTA President, Mr Richard Philippart, and Director, Mr John Connolly, were honoured to receive Certificates of Excellence from the President of the People’s Supreme Court, H.E. Mr Khampha Sengdara, in recognition of the support that ILSTA has been providing to the Supreme Court through trainings and technical support over the past five years. In particular, Mr Khampha noted the valuable expertise provided by ILSTA in setting up an Administrative Court system in Laos by bringing Luxembourg expert, Mr Steve Helminger, to Laos on two occasions to share his expertise on the subject. Mr Steve Helminger was unable to attend the ceremony due to Covid-19 travel restrictions. The meeting addressed future cooperation opportunities both nationally and in the region.
