On 11 January an Open Lecture on Governance in the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) focusing on challenges and opportunities to leadership and business community. Presenter was Mr. Sivath Sengdouangchanh, Managing Director of Allen & Gledhill, Laos. The lecture, which soon turned into a discussion, focused on the different strategic areas to be addressed when joining the AEC such as the how to make make policies attractive, legal framework, integrated planning, implementation, enforcement and market discipline.
