On October 19th, ILSTA held an open lecture on Environmental Crime attended by students and lecturers from the Faculty of Law and Political Science, National University of Laos, and invited legal practitioners.
The lecture, by ILSTA Programme Officer Mr. Phetmany Khemmana, introduced the legal framework on the environment and natural resources both domestic and international covering types of environmental offences, illegal activities, perpetrators, victims and impacts. The presentation was followed by an extensive Q&A session and an open and lively exchange from the audience.
