The workshop on anti-corruption for inspectors from the State Inspection and Anti-Corruption Authority of Ministry of Planning and Investment was held on 2-3 February, at the ILSTA’s training room, in collaboration with the Institute for Legal Support and Technical Assistance, State Inspection and Anti-Corruption Authority and Ministry of Planning and Investment.
The workshop brought together 25 inspectors from Vientiane Capital, Bolikhamxay, Khammouane and Vientiane province. Lectures and activities on types of corruption and financial investigations were presented by experts from ILSTA, Ms Alina Timus, Mr John Connolly and Mr Keith Farquharson, and the Vice Head of the Anti-Corruption Department of SIA, Mr Thepphathai Phanka. The lectures were followed by a lively Q&A session, which led to an interactive discussion.
