The Institute for Legal Support and Technical Assistance (ILSTA) and the Office of the Supreme People’s Prosecutor (OSPP), in partnership with the State Audit Organization, conducted a Workshop on Strengthening Capacity in Inspection, Anti-Corruption, and AML/CFT for the Prosecutors of Southern Provinces, namely Attapue, Xekong, Salavan, Savannakhet, and Champasak provinces. This event was co-chaired by Mrs. Phonethip Savaly, Director General of the Inspection Department of OSPP, and Mr. Jonh Connolly, Director of ILSTA. This workshop was also attended by experts and officers from ILSTA, the Department of Suppression and Inspection of Corruption, State Audit Organization (SAO) as well as technical officers from OSPP, SAO of Champasak province, the Office of the Appellate People’s Prosecutor of the Southern Region, the Office of the Appellate Military Prosecutor of the Southern Region, and the Office of the People’s Prosecutors of Savannakhet, Salavan, Champasak, and Attapeu Provinces, with 75 participants in total.
