Open Lecture – Combat Corruption – Law and other Tools

On 15 November Mr. Erik Häggqvist, ILSTA, gave an Open Lecture on Combat Corruption – Law and other Tools. Effects of corruption were discussed and an international comparison was made. The lecture gave an overview of how corruption is regulated in International Law, the situation within ASEAN and the legal provisions existing in Laos. Participants discussed actual experiences and ways to deal with corrupt practices.
