Workshop on Strengthening Techniques on Monitoring and Inspecting of Case Proceedings and Making Statements in Court Hearings for Prosecutors of 6 central Provinces

The Office of Supreme People’s Prosecutor (OSPP) of Lao PDR and ILSTA organised a workshop on Strengthening Techniques on Monitoring and Inspecting of Case Proceedings and Making Statements in Court Hearings for Prosecutors of 6 central Provinces: Vientiane Captial, Xieng Khuang, Xaysomboune, Vientiane Province, Khammouane and Bolikhamxay, July 13-15, 2022, in Paksan District, Bolikhamxay.

Mr. Bounthan Bounthavilay, Deputy Prosecutor General of the OSPP, and Mr. John Connolly, Director of ILSTA chaired the workshop. More than 70 prosecutors took part in the training which featured presentations by ILSTA expert, Mr. Jacques Du Preez, on making opening statements in court hearings, as well as presentations from the Supreme Procuracy of Vietnam.
