ILSTA’s expert, Mr. Keith Farquharson gave an Open Lecture at the National University of Laos on ”The Criminal Liability of Companies” on the 8th of May.
The new provisions on the liability of the legal persons of the New Lao Penal Code, the legal conditions for liability, the principles and options for sanctioning were the core topics of the presentation.
All participants showed their analytical skills in solving a case study before taking part in an informative question and answer session.
The lecture was attended by students, professors, and legal practitioners.
