Research skills workshop held at Faculty of Law and Political Science

Early this week the Faculty of Law and Political Science, National University of Laos (FLP) in cooperation with the Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance University of Luxembourg conducted workshops together in order to strengthen research skills among Lao Faculty members. The Luxembourg delegation included 7 researchers and was led by the Dean of the Faculty Prof. Stefan Braum. Dean of FLP Assoc. Prof. Viengvilay Thiengchanhxay led the Lao researchers. Other institutions such as the National Judicial Institute were also represented during the workshop. A number of presentations and exchanges of views and experiences on how to improve research methodology and skills were made by participants from both the Luxembourg and the Lao side. The workshop was a part of the cooperation agreement between the two Faculties in which ILSTA plays an active part.
