65 officials from Vientaine capital and provinces participated in a set of training workshops to hone their skills and readiness to become assistant prosecutors on prosecution and combating transnational organised crime.
On 13th November, the co-organized workshop on Anti Money Laundering by ILSTA and OSPP was conducted by Director of ILSTA, Mr John Connolly and expert from ILSTA, Mr. Keith Farquharson. The workshop focused on delivering holistic knowledge on Money Laundering and engaging attendees in practical and interactive group-work on financial investigation case studies.
Apart from carrying out a number of presentations and passing on the best practices, ILSTA also emphasized on promoting legal knowledge by conducting Legal Knowledge Quiz, which took part by attendees on the first week of the training. As the result was announced, we would like to congratulate with the winner of the quiz, Ms Sisouphan Xayasouk from OSPP.
